Raffle Sales Procedure

Raffle Sales Process

Follow these steps to sell raffle tickets effectively:

1. Welcoming Guests:

  • Greet each guest warmly and encourage them to participate in the raffle.

  • Use phrases like:

    • “Would you like to join our 50-50 raffle? The grand prize is 50% of the total ticket sales in cash!”

    • “We also have additional prizes donated by retailers, valued between $25 and $100!”

2. Explaining Ticket Pricing:

  • Clearly explain the raffle ticket pricing:

    • $2 each

    • 6 for $10

    • 15 for $25

    • 20 for $30

  • Suggest bundles for better value (e.g., “You can get 6 tickets for just $10!”).

3. Selling Tickets:

Shift Wrap-Up

  1. End-of-Shift Tasks:

    • Count the total cash collected during your shift and hand it over to the Coordinator or designated person.

    • Provide a summary of digital payments (if applicable).

    • Note the number of tickets sold during your shift.

  2. Handover to Next Shift:

    • Inform the next shift of volunteers about:

      • The current raffle ticket sales total.

      • Any issues or guest concerns raised during your shift.

      • The status of supplies (e.g., ticket rolls, cash, change).

  3. Sign-Out:

    • Notify the Coordinator that your shift is complete.
